Usage of Homeopathy Worldwide
Homeopathy is a medical system used worldwide, a personal choice for the health conscious. In 2004, the World Health Organization ranked it as the second most widely used medical system globally. It is popular across various demographics, including high-profile individuals who advocate for its benefits. Prominent athletes have turned to homeopathy for injury recovery and performance maintenance. The ordinary massess or common people or civilian population in Spanish and Portugese speaking countries in Latin America, in Hong Kong, in South Asia (Indian subcontinent), in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, and in the Western developed countries (i.e. Europe and USA) are regularly using homeopathy in assisting recovery from illness and various sufferings.

Notable advocates of homeopathy include members of the royal family, such as Queen Elizabeth (Late), HRH King Charles, and more recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Queen Elizabeth (Late) served as a patron of the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (formerly the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital) and was known for carrying her first-aid homeopathic remedy kit while traveling.
HRH King Charles has shown strong support for homeopathy, both earning praise and criticism for urging the government to promote alternative medicine in the UK. He also utilises homeopathy effectively for the animals on the Royal Duchy Organic Farm.
The royal family is said actually have an in-house homeopathy doctor in the palace.
Prince Charles believes homeopathy “is rooted in ancient traditions that intuitively understood the need to maintain balance and harmony with our minds, bodies, and the natural world.”

Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, is a dedicated fan of homeopathy and has been using it since he was 16. The Olympic sprinter is a diligent patient of Dr Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt, who is known for practicing homeopathy.

Former British No. 1 female tennis player Annabel Croft also endorses homeopathy, noting, “I’ve used Gelsemium in the past to calm my nerves before presenting Wimbledon.”

Former Beatles star Paul McCartney is a firm believer of homeopathy. He says, “I can’t manage without homeopathy. In fact, I never go anywhere without homeopathic remedies. I often make use of them.”

Baywatch star Pamela Anderson was infected with hepatitis C in 2002 and believes it was the homeopathic treatment that cured her. “I’m convinced my homeopathic remedy is keeping me strong,” she said in 2004.

After football star David Beckham broke a bone in his foot before the 2002 World Cup, he underwent intensive treatment which included homeopathy. Ever since, he has been a great fan of homeopathic treatment, especially Arnica, a well-known remedy for pain and inflammation.

In an interview to the Scottish Sunday Mail, pop star Cher said, “I don’t think I’d still be around today if it weren’t for homeopathic medicine. I was sick with an Epstein-Barr virus which led to chronic fatigue and I couldn’t work effectively for two years.”
